MEET PHOTONIC LINES
We bring distributed fiber optic sensing into the environments where it can make a difference.
Based in Wah-Cantt, Pakistan, Photonic Lines focuses on Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) and Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) for infrastructure monitoring and research collaboration.
Our work connects sensing design, field deployment and data interpretation—helping industrial teams and researchers move from a monitoring requirement to a practical solution.
A CLEAR PATH FORWARD
Every project starts with your assets, your operating environment and the decisions you need to make.
Share the asset, site conditions and events you want to monitor.
Explore sensing technology, fiber routes and integration requirements.
Assess data quality and monitoring performance for your environment.
Bring sensing information into your operations and support workflow.
RESEARCH MEETS REAL-WORLD ENGINEERING
From academic research and prototype testing to proposal development and commercialisation, explore six collaboration programmes built around distributed sensing.
Explore research & collaborationIt uses optical fiber as a sensing medium. Light sent into the fiber is analysed to measure changes along its length, providing spatial information instead of relying only on individual point sensors.
DAS measures vibration and acoustic activity along a fiber. DTS measures temperature along it. The right technology—or combination—depends on the events and conditions your project needs to observe.
Existing fiber may be suitable, subject to its type, condition, route, accessibility and coupling to the monitored asset. A technical review determines suitability before a monitoring design is agreed.
Send us your application, location, approximate monitoring length and the events of interest. Include any existing fiber and integration requirements so we can discuss a suitable next step.
